Gitbot4Slack is an integration that connects your GitHub repositories with your Slack workspace. It automatically sends notifications about pull requests, pushes, and other repository events directly to your Slack channels.
Yes, currently all our services are free.
Currently, all registered workspaces are on the FREE plan by default, which only has 1 repository and 5 channels.
Yes, unfortunately it is possible, server delay issues can occur at the time the message is about to be sent, interrupting the sending of the message.
Simply click the “Add to Slack” button and authorize both Slack and GitHub when prompted. Once installed, you’ll be able to configure which repositories you want to monitor.
Gitbot4Slack requires minimal permissions — only to read repository metadata and receive webhooks. It never has access to your private code or commit contents.
The bot stores only essential connection information like installation IDs and workspace tokens. No user messages, commits, or repository contents are permanently saved.
You can uninstall the GitHub App from your GitHub settings page or remove the Slack integration from your workspace’s App Management page at any time.
